Benefits for electricians and electrical designers
Low installation costs and excellent value for money are the two factors that matter most to electrical contractors and design firms. We support you with planning, installation and commissioning on site, and can also implement specialised applications. The myTEM hotline is on hand to assist you during the planning phase and throughout the installation. Tender documents and a comprehensive installation manual are available to support your project work, whilst myTEM training courses help you get up to speed on new projects more quickly.
Benefits for architects
With the myTEM system, you can expand your offering beyond conventional building services and set yourself apart from the competition. Thanks to its flexibility and scalability, even larger automation projects can be implemented – from residential buildings to functional buildings. In this approach, building services are integrated into the architecture: lighting, shading and indoor climate are controlled centrally, rather than via a multitude of visible control elements. Tender documents and sample projects are available in the downloads section, and our specialist advisory team will support you from the preliminary design phase onwards.

Benefits for property developers
As a client, your choice of building automation system has a direct impact on the future running costs of your property. The myTEM Smart Building System controls heating, cooling, ventilation and lighting according to demand – heating and cooling are only provided where they are needed. This reduces energy consumption, energy costs and CO₂ emissions.
At the same time, the quality of the spaces improves: A building with a stable indoor climate, automatic shading and daylight-dependent lighting is easier to let and can command a higher rental rate. Low energy performance figures and documented consumption data also strengthen your position when it comes to valuation, financing and sustainability certification.
The investment remains predictable: low installation costs, modular expandability, and adaptability to changes in use without having to replace the system.
Benefits for building managers
For building managers, myTEM provides a centralised overview of all energy flows, loads and consumption within the building. Consumption data is continuously collected across all building systems and recorded over the long term, whilst operating statuses remain traceable at all times. Using freely definable thresholds, the system flags up deviations and notifies the relevant person before they become a cost factor. The data is available via open interfaces and data export, regardless of the manufacturer – serving as the basis for analyses, reports and documentation.

Benefits for energy managers
For energy managers, myTEM optimises self-consumption, energy costs and peak loads based on real operational data. Consumption is continuously recorded and serves as the basis for automated control: loads are shifted to off-peak periods, surplus PV energy is utilised strategically, and priorities and levels distribute the load. This enables peak loads to be reduced in a targeted manner – a direct way to influence the unit price on the electricity bill. Via open interfaces and data export, the figures are available independently of the supplier as a basis for energy performance indicators and reporting in accordance with ISO 50001.
Benefits for facility managers
For facility managers, myTEM reduces the workload involved in day-to-day operations. Faults and instances where thresholds are exceeded are reported automatically, rather than only being noticed during the next inspection – this shortens response times and reduces the need for on-site visits. Via the app, you can access systems and operational statuses from anywhere; up to twelve servers can be connected via Ethernet to form a single unit, spread across floors or sections of the building. Access control and door communication systems, as well as cameras, can be integrated via open network protocols, and the system operates entirely without the cloud.
