myTEM offers the right solution for every requirement, whether wired or wireless. The specific scope and level of automation determine which components are used. myTEM is ideally suited to both new-build and refurbishment projects. With myTEM, you can enhance the quality of use, maintain the property’s value and reduce energy consumption.

Wired, wireless or a combination of both

The brain of the smart building solution, the myTEM server, is available both in a wireless version and for wired installation in a control cabinet. With various expansion modules and gateways, the myTEM smart building system can be adapted to any scale and requirement. Z-Wave components from different manufacturers can also be integrated via the radio server or the radio base module.

Its high level of expandability and flexible scalability speak for themselves.  Furthermore, the system impresses with its low installation effort and low installation costs.

myTEM Wired System Configuration

At the heart of the Wired System is the Smart Server. This can be expanded with various modules (IO module, IO Small module, etc.). This makes the system infinitely scalable. The Wired System solution is suitable for installation in a control cabinet. A robust CAN bus, high operational reliability and fast data transmission make it a compelling choice in practice.

At the heart of the wireless system is the radio server. Thanks to its Z-Wave connectivity, this system is open and can be installed with minimal effort and without the need for cabling. It can also be combined with the wired myTEM system.

The Free Topology System features a flexible tree structure and can be installed with minimal effort.

It is therefore particularly suitable for large buildings. It is connected via the FT Base module. Ideal for use in larger automation projects. The maximum cable length is 500 metres with 50 nodes (FT modules).

myTEM adapts to your needs

Das Smart Building System von myTEM kann sowohl im Schaltschrank verdrahtet, als auch verkabelt im Gebäude über Free Topology, genutzt werden. Des Weiteren ist es möglich, das System als Funklösung oder kombiniert als Hybridlösung einzusetzen. Verdrahtete Lösungen sind von Vorteil, wenn es um besonders zuverlässige, stabile und gleichmässige Signalübertragung geht. Funklösungen sind immer dann anzuraten, wenn die bestehende Infrastruktur automatisiert werden soll, ohne Kabel zu verlegen. Das kann beispielsweise bei einer Renovierung oder einer Modernisierung der Fall sein. myTEM ist auch vorbereitet, um über Netzwerkkommunikation Tür- und Zutrittssysteme, Wetterdaten, Kamera oder die Heizung einzubinden. Zudem gibt es ein DALI-Interface, um die bestehende DALI-Lichtinstallation zu integrieren. Des Weiteren kann das myTEM System auch via Sprache bedient werden. Mit den vorhandenen Modbusschnittstellen (TCP und RTU) können diverse Modbus Geräte eingebunden werden. Eine weitere Möglichkeit ist das Multiserversystem: man kann bis zu 12 Smartserver oder Radioserver zu einem Multiserversystem verbinden. Die Server werden über Ethernet verbunden und können somit auch in verschiedenen Stockwerken oder Gebäudeteilen verbaut werden.

Can be integrated via network communication:

  • Full access to the TEM heating controllers via TEM-RC 7020

  • Doorbird door communication system can be easily integrated into myTEM

  • Internet cameras can be integrated via HTTP, HTTPS and RTSP

  • Generic network devices can be integrated via HTTP or HTTPS e.g. with JSON or SOAP

 

Various Netatmo products and data can be easily processed and visualised, such as:

  • Aneometer (data points: Wind strength, wind direction, gust strength, gust direction, battery level)

  • Indoor Module (data points: CO2, temperature, humidity, battery level)

  • Outdoor Module (data points: temperature, humidity, battery level)

  • Rain Gauge (data points: rain, battery level)

  • Weather Station (base station) (data points: CO2, noise, air pressure, temperature, humidity)

DALI

  • Simple control of lamps

  • Up to 64 actuators per DALI bus (1x DALI Base device)

  • These can be divided into up to 16 groups

  • Up to 300 metres 2-wire cable length

  • According to IEC 6238

Modbus

  • Modbus TCP (Server + Client) integrated in the myTEM Server

  • Modbus RTU (RS485, Server + Client) with the myTEM Module

  • Modbus library in the myTEM ProgTool

cloud

  • Operation is also possible without cloud

  • myTEM uses Microsoft Azure Cloud (among others IoT Hub + Websocket/SiganlR communication)

Multiserver

  • Up to 12 Server in the system possible

  • The servers are connected via Ethernet

voice controls

  • Alexa (Voice assistant from  Amazon)

  • Google Assistant

myTEM app and software

Thanks to the myTEM App, even beginners can control their smart building quickly and easily via smartphone or tablet. The intuitive user interface helps you set up and manage rooms and devices, and enables precise time-based control. This allows you to tailor your home to your own personal weekly schedule!

Das myTEM ProgTool is installed on a desktop computer or laptop. Thanks to its graphical interface and extensive function library, even complex control sequences can be programmed easily using the ProgTool. Your existing programme can be easily imported into the ProgTool and then adapted or expanded.
